1. How to get the editor up and running

A. First of all, make a *BACKUP* of your Z__XVT_.EXE file!
   In case something screws up. This program directly
   modifies this file.

B. Unzip the program to where X-Wing vs Tie Fighter is installed
   with the -d option. This will place XvTEdit.exe in the
   directory and create a sub-directory called DATA with Ships.dat
   in it. The program will need these files. It will get an Acess
   Violation error if it doesn't find these files. Don't panic,
   it is a harmless error, and will not affect your win95 environment
   in anyway.

C. Then just run it from there.

2. General information
----------------------
A. It is recommended *NOT* to change the attributes of the capital
   ships/larger ships. The reason is most of the values have to be
   multiplied by another 16x. I have just found this out, so I
   haven't implemented the code for it yet. Hopefully, it will be
   implemented in the next build.

B. The modified file has *NOT* been tested with multiplayer. I doubt it
   will work. If it doesn't just restore your backup copy of the 
   Z__XVT_.EXE file.

C. Some of the ships that aren't in the game already have their own
   attributes. So you can see what their ratings are. Changing them
   is pretty much pointless.

D. This does not make you invulnerable, just makes you stronger. You
   will still *DIE* if you just hang around in the cockpit and wait
   for Christmas. Nor does this program give you unlimited missiles,
   those modifiers are in the mission files.

E. The *REAL* in game multipliers will differ depending on the difficul-
   ty level you choose.

F. The lasers values I know of are 137-Rebel laser, 139-Imperial Laser,
   141-Ion Cannons. You can try other values, but sometimes it will
   mess up your cockpit display.

G. The search may take longer as you go down the list, since they are
   located near end of the file. Be patient. The reason I used this 
   method is that if the exe were patched, it will still work(hopefully).
   If the structure of the craft attributes doesn't change.

H. The other 2 editors will be worked on very soon. I am coding this
   myself, so give me a break!
