Has anyone ever tried messing with the files inside a virtual machine? For example the system files involved with telling a program that it's time is up? If so/not, do you think it would work?

Will you get with the program!!! The Rules did not change between my previous reminders to you. There is STILL the requirement that YOU do your own homework before you post your question in these Forums.

Let me make this as obvious as I can. Just because VM machines are "new" to YOU doesn't mean that they are "new." Just because YOU haven't experienced anything having to do with VM machines before, doesn't mean that "no one" has and YOU are not excused from using both your "brain" and your "internet search engine" when YOU don't know something.

THIS is NOT the place for YOU to post every damn thing YOU don't know about VM machines WITHOUT making a personal effort to find the answer YOURSELF! Is this clear yet?????

Now put something like:

changing the clock in a virtual machine

in YOUR favorite search engine and YOU read what you find.

Then try other combination of "vm machine" and "clock" and read some more.

Then do some research on how programs may determine that their time is "up" and research that in relation to VM machines.

In "other words" "think about your problem" and the YOU attempt to find an answer yourself FIRST!

Only AFTER doing a reasonable search should you Post a question here!!! And THEN be sure to tell us you searched and what you searched for.
