I've searched all over the internet for help, so I thought I'd post here.
I've installed Pro Tools 7 LE on my computer but it won't open because it says I need to install a TPkd driver.

Just download it from the PACE website right?
Well I have downloaded the driver, installed and rebooted dozens of times. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Pro Tools on my computer. It won't work!

The Interlok driver doesn't appear in my registry or my device manager no matter how many times I install and reboot. Therefore I have been unable to launch Pro Tools even once.

Can anyone offer any help?

Thx,

Marc

I've got the full version of Pro Tools 7.0 that came with the M Box2 that I purchased.

I am running Service Pack 2 for XP home ed 2002.

I definitely rebooted after install. I emailed PACE support and they didn't offer any help, except a suggestion to try a new computer. This computer works great and I've never had any trouble from it. I just can't understand why the driver isn't registering.

Pro Tools does have the driver included in the install, but I guess thats the older version, which is why I need the update.

I'd hate to buy a new computer just to use Pro Tools because I know this computer is very capable of running it.

What in the heck does your audio software installation problems have to do with Reverse Engineering - I think you are in the wrong place, you probably Googled Pro Tools and this forum popped up but it's totally unrelated to Pace. Try talking to them and if all else fails maybe someone here may help you.
