just downloaded for testing W8 & did setup in VBox.
well, olly mostly fails to debug program. for example fails after GetOpenFileName..
Explorer crushes under olly.. etc..

edit: other horrible things, call to GetOpenFileName will load 70~80 DLLs..
will W8 survive??

Officially it is not supported, and it wont work...

Although I have no idea how.

As for win8 in a VM, check your distro for a patch.
If they dont have one, get another that does.

Where did you hear this from? Ive been testing Windows 8 on VM since its consumer previews. and I just installed the Final Release on VMWare. O_o

just updated VBox. version 4.2.4.
