I have often come across cracking tutorials where you are told to bpx something, change this byte or NOP this etc. But usually, I don't understand the basis of the action. That is because the writer did not explain why the action must be done. I realise that I did not learn anything in such tutorials after reading through it. On the other hand, I learnt a lot from tutorials that are detailed in their description and the reasons for using certain methods. Thus, the purpose of these CrackMe® Practices is to let all of us understand the "HOW"s and "WHY"s of the methods involved. Posting the solution faster than the rest does not mean anything here. The main aim here, like my website, is to share our meagre knowledge so that all of us will eventually become crackers with lots of tricks under our sleeves. So, I hope that any solutions posted on this forum will be accompanied by a description of HOW you manage to do it. This will enable any other newbies to learn something when they download the complete project for their reading. How to post: Each Cracker will open their own thread.
