I enjoy working on technical projects, where I may be involved in developing the math and numerical methods, considering tradeoffs between hardware and software early in the product design, and working where there may be a close interaction between the hardware and operating system or application software that I write. Embedded and hardware-testing applications often fit this very well, but I also enjoy working on similar applications on the PC under DOS or Windows.

My primary language skills are C, C++, Visual BASIC and DOS BASIC, x86 assembly language, and a wide variety of microcontroller assembly languages, including the Microchip PIC, Atmel AVR, and Intel 8051. I also have a strong background in mathematics and physics, signal processing and process control, the internal PC architecture, and small operating system design and development.

For detailed information on current and past projects, references, or more specific information on the tools I use, please contact me by email.
