Hello all Crackers, ..::Calculici::....::08.04.2001::.. FROM ONE NEWBIE TO ANOTHER Tutor Nr. 23 Program: Scoop Script 2001 ( where: http://www.scoopsite.com ) Protection: Serial Level: Medium Tools: Find Files from Windows NotePad from Windows Some knowledge about mirc script language. I don't know very much of this so at first I was in the dark, but in the final stages I did it. A cool drink. Brain <-- This is the most important one E-mail: calculici83@yahoo.com DISCLAIMER This reading material is not intended to violate Copyrights and/or it is law, but educational purposes only. I hold no responsibility ( by all means and in any shape whatsoever ) of the mis-used of this material. FIRST OF ALL All the cracking tools you can get at http://protools.cjb.net. STARTING I think that everyone has used a mirc script. Mirc 5.82, WarMaster, Peace&Protection 4, etc are some of these mirc scripts. This goal of this tutorial is to make you understand how to register this mirc script. I saw someone was asking for a serial number and that nobody has one. So, I downloaded the file and I admit that till this day when I am writing this tutorial I never got the idea to crack it, which it was easy. I installed the program and then runned it. A DialogBox appeard which told me that i must register. It looked like this: Register Scøøp Script! This is a fully featured version of Scøøp Script. But if you like it and wish to help us to develop new versions register it! Only U$10,00 To register go to our site http://www.scoopsite.com and register it! At first I wanted to use W32Dasm but i remembered that my Mirc 5.82 was registered and that I don't need to dissasemble it. Then it HIT ME. Let's search files that have the text: "This is a fully" in them in the directory where I have installed Scoop Script. One file was found: "remote02.sco", I opened it with NotePad and I searched for the text. I arrived here: on 1:dialog:ident:sclick:*: { if $did = 5 { %nicksenh = $did(3) | id } } alias sol2 { dialog -ma sol2 sol2 } alias sol { if $ve(dur, musge) = 1 { return } %result = $dialog(sol,sol,-4) } dialog sol { title "Register Scøøp Script!" size 215 210 436 221 text "This is a fully featured version of Scøøp Script. ", 1, 103 13 222 14 text "But if you like it and wish to help us to develop new versions register it! Only U$10,00", 2, 19 42 406 20 text "To register go to our site http://www.scoopsite.com and register it!", 3, 45 73 431 14 button "Close window (wait)", 5, 71 112 140 23, cancel button "Go to register page!", 6, 233 112 130 23 text "This nag screen will not appear in the registered version.", 7, 93 153 272 15 text "Enter registration code:", 8, 57 194 111 13 edit "", 9, 179 191 96 22 button "Register", 10, 284 191 52 20 } Because I didn't know much about this language, I started to wonder how the comparison was done. I realised that all of the texts and the buttons are created in these lines. But I what the heck the comparison is made just the same like in a real language. This line here attracted my eyes: alias sol { if $ve(dur, musge) = 1 { return } By all the definitions of the word "if" that is a comparison. So if "dur, musge" has one value then it means that Scoop Script will be registered. But which one. Well I turned again to Find Files and searched for "musge". I came across these files: "conf.ini,alias3.sco,alias7.sco,remote02.sco". The one that I was interested in was "conf.ini". Why? Well because it is the configuration ini. I opened it with NotePad and searched for "musge" and I arrived here: [musge] dur=0 interval=2000thanks Now I understood what the comparison meant. If dur=0 then ScoopScript was Unregistered If dur=1 then ScoopScript was Registered and the code shouldn't be entered anymore. The third line "interval=2000thanks" caught my attention, because it shows us the serial number. So "2000thanks" is the serial number. I opened ScoopScript and enter the serial and BOOM it was registered. END I hope you like this tutorial. I enjoyed very much writing it and cracking ScoopScript. Hope you will learn something. I must learn some script language fast. LOL. That's all folks.
