how to crack MailSweep v2.0 by FaT[BiT] \ TNT!

hi there and wellcome to my 7th tut , in this tut
we will crack MailSweep v2.0 ......


 NOTE : this is the easiest protection !!! i have ever seen

ToolZ :

     Softice v4.05 ( any version will do )
     a pen & paper ( to write down the serial )

o.k here we go

  1) after i have installed the prog , i copied the exe file
     to win32dasm dir to dasm it !!! and i found out that this
     little prog have an anti-win32dasm (DUH !!!! ) , so fuck
     the dead-listing let's fire up Softice !!!

  2) o.k run the MailSweep , click o.k at the first nag message
     then the prog will start , notice the UNREGISTERED at the
     window caption !!! (DUH !!! again !!!)

  3) click on ? , then about u will see a screen with the button
     Registration.. , click on it and there u have it !!!
     a user and Registration Key !!!!

  4) o.k let's enter our info , in my case :
     User : FaT[BiT] \ TNT!
     Registration Key : 121121
     click o.k !!! and *boom*
     ----> Registration Failed! <----- our error message

   5) hmm.... here is our err message , but we can't dasm the file , and
      if u take a look at the error messsge u will see that this message
      is not from the exe file it is from the windows , so our breakpoint
      will be like this 'bpx MessageBoxA'

   6) so again fill the info and before u click on o.k , press [ctrl]+[d]
      and set a bpx in softice 'bpx MessageBoxA' , then press F5 , to get
      back to the prog .... now click o.k , SoftIce will pop up , press
      F11 to get the caller , the error message will appear , click on o.k
      and u r back to softice.....

   7) Now to the most intersting part about this tut , now all u have to
      do is to look for ur name with the command
      s 0 l ffffffff 'FaT[BiT] \ TNT!' <-- this is what i wrote
      and when SI find it scroll down a little bit to see ur serial , by the
      way it always starts with MSXXXXXXXXXX <-- the X is a digit and it's length
      depend on the length of ur name .....

   8) so write the command down and start the search if u didn't find it
      just write s and SI will bring to u the next match ..... until u see
      some thing like this :

      NOTE : to reach ur name and serial it's gona take a little time
             cuz u search from 0 and look at the address where i have
             found my serial !!!! , the address may look diffrenet at ur
             machine and there is some garbge between ur name and the
             serial and also sometimes u see the serial ended with the
             (<) or any other char. if u see this look under it u will
             find the complete and the right one and u might want to
             enlarge ur data window , so write on SI 'wd 22' !!!!!!!

   9) So.... what do u think !!! this looks like a serial let's write it
      down and try it !!! *boom*
