ABOUT THE PROGRAM 

Net Optimizer is a utility designed special for Win2000. 
a graphical user interface, Net Optimizer allows you to 
modify many hidden Windows registry settings only by 
simply clicking the provided checkboxes. 
The Net Optimizer enable you to get a better internet 
connection , just by clicking a specified button and it 
will set all recomended provided settings for you. 
The Net Optimizer provide you a facility to get back 
easily to Windows default, when ever you have a problem 
what so-ever with your connection, just by clicking the 
default button.
The Net Optimizer also, in addition, offers a wide range 
possibility to customize your Windows 2000 program, such 
as : give a background at your wish in pre-logon, auto
matic restart Windows Explorer when crashes while you're 
working to avoid loosing your works.
What's new in version 3.0 ?
Fix a few small problem which found in the previous 
version.
 * Add ability to manage Windows 2000 startup files.
 * Add 4 new functions in the control panel page.
 * Add 3 new functions in the Internet Explorer page.
 * Add 2 new functions in the sytem optimizer page.

HOW TO GET VALID SERIAL NUMBER by using SoftIce



1.  Run NETOPTIMIZER.EXE, in the registration dialog box type these 
    below information :

	Code    : 738810509

    Let your cursor remain in the regisrtation field box.
    

2.  Load SoftIce by pressing [ CTRL + D ], set a breakpoint as follow :
    

	BPX hmemcpy     [enter]   and
   	F5  to return to the main program

3.  Now, press BACKSPACE once, you'll return back into SoftIce!
    In within SoftIce press F11, F5, F11, followed with F12 
    11 times until you see and break at :

	Break due to BPX KERNEL!HMEMCPY 
    	Create a new breakpoint by typing :

	: bc 00  [enter] ==> no longer needed
	: BPX 015F:00479DC5  [enter]
	
	Press F10 once - stop at 015F:00479DCD - display EAX register

	: d eax  [enter]  	see that fake code at virtual address
				0167:00C03518 ???

	Press F10 once - stop at 015F:00479DD2 - display EDX register

	: d edx  [enter]  	there is 28031979-ph-17081945 at virtual
				0167:00479F3C , don't you think this one
				is a reg code ???  Write it down.


5.  Disable all breakpoints by typing 

	BD *   [enter]
	Press F5 or X to return to the main program
     

8.  Repeat registration procedure and keyed-in 28031979-ph-17081945 
    as your S/N. 
    Click OK button .....  there you're registered.


9.	Where the hell is my registration code is stored ??

	The correct registration code is stored somewhere in the 
	CONFIG.DAT file.  In addition valid s/n is hardcoded within
	.EXE at hex offset #7933C.


10.  How can I practise with my own user name ?

	-  I strongly recommended you not to do this !
