Target: Secret Surf Trial version 4.40

Tools used: Hview
	

Protection:Nag Screen


NOTE: This tutorial is not totally for newbies so i excpect that u know
1.how to use w32dasm
2.how to use hview (change,search,etc...)
3.Assembly


since this is a trial, all u have a nag telling u it expired or how many days left
remmember u dont always have to do a lot of work or thinking ;)

 
1. Dont Disassemble the program
2.change ur system date to see the expired nag.
a nag comes up saying its expired with 2 buttons 1.&Register now which is enabled
						 2.&Continue which is disabled

3.open the program in hview and search for & C o n t and ull find both beside each others


              Button     &
0E 00 01 00 FF FF 80 00 26     -------->&Register now
F8 03 FF FF 80 00 26           -------->&Continue

Change 0E 00 01 00 FF FF 80 00 26     -------->&Register now
to     0E F8 03 00 FF FF 80 00 26

SAVE AND check the difference     wow the Register now button is gone 
good stuff this doesnt matter just tryin to show u some shit

now the good part

Chnage F8 03 FF FF 80 00 26           -------->&Continue
to     F8 01 FF FF 80 00 26           -------->&Continue
save and look at the difference wow
