This babe is really simple to crack, open the program and you'll see a nagscreen telling you that you've 30 days left to register the program. Click the activatebutton enter a code press the button and you'll get the message "You have entered an invalid registration code".
Open W32dasm; search in the string reference for this string. Click on it, scroll a bit up and scroll a bit down, you'll notice the other strings telling you there's a standard and professional edition and a string that tells you that you can extend your trial period with 30 days..
Enter a serial, open SoftICE, break on hmemcpy, press F11 and keep on stepping until you're in settings.text, do a search for your serial. Put a bpr xxxx:xxxxxxxx xxxx:xxxxxxxx + "length of your serial" rw, press F5. You'll be at the compare routine now, 4 numbers of your serial are being compared with 4 numbers of the good serial, the first time the good serial is a serial for the standard version, the 2nd time it's a serial for the professional version and the third time it's a serial to extend your trialperiod with 30 days.
After this the compareroutine restarts, comparing with 3 new good numbers where the 1st is again for the standard version, the 2nd for the professional version and the 3rd to extend your trialperiod with 30 days.
Well that was it, easier couldn't be possible, the author's where to lazy to encrypt there serials and/or to put some fake serials in there protectionscheme. There wasn't any dummycopy of our serial..
