Netcaptor is a small web-browser ,it is an Add-Banner-Ware , at this tutorial is described the use of winshow ,in order to get rid of the add

Cracking attempts: I tried to change the size of the addbanner by using exescope5 but this was not possible , but I fount that the add gif was displayed by a AD_GIF function or command so I change this AD_GIF to DA_GIF in the hex code but still there where some problems to be fixed and I gave up with this.

Finally: The idea of using winshow (win-frog) is to find the size of the window and change it so the add will not be displayed, make it 0 ,by playing with the program I understood that only the width of the add is important .The width of the add is 0xea so in w32dasm if you will search for 000000EA (8 digits numbers are used in asm to express a value) the result it is very possible that will be the value of the width . Search in w32dasm now I will not do it for you. When you eliminate the width of the nag at the 000CFED2 offset replacing EA with 00 , you have to change and another location where the system menu ,tool bar and system bar is this is at the 000D60D6 offset .
