Hello Crackers!!!

In this tutorial we shall crack CD Stripper v2.1 in 3 different ways!!


1) Get the valid Serial using SoftICE.
2) Get the valid Serial using W32Dasm.
3) Patch the program (Register with any Serial)

- The Protection -         
=====================================

CD Stripper v2.1 requires a serialnumber to be registered.

- Crack The Program using SoftICE -
======================================

Ok lets start with the first way!

Run "CD Stripper" and choose Help/Unlock Code.
Enter any Serial you want and Press CTRL+D. SoftICE pops-up!

I typed 666666666

Now we gonna set a breakpoint at hmemcpy, so type bpx hmemcpy, F5
Now you are back in the program, Press the OK Button and SoftICE brekas!

Press F12 til you come to the program code!

I pressed F12 8 times.

Now trace with F10 through the program code and you will see that you not
longer are in the program code anymore..Just Trace til you are back in the program code again.

Stop when you see this code snipp:

Stop at the call at "00403BB1" you type d edi, scroll up a bit and you will se some text
and shit, soon you will see the valid Serial in the window.

Well that´s it!!

- Crack The Program using W32Dasm  -
====================================

This way is the easiest way I think :-)

When I Disassemmble a program I always look in the String Data References
after some error message, good message, some suspicius text or NUMBERS that can have
something to do with the serial!!

And that is what we are gonns do now!!

So Just Disassemmble the EXE file and press the "STRN REF" button.
Scroll down a few lines and you will notice a number.
