VBOX is used by most
of the big companies to protect their software ... like Norton .. Adobe
etc.VBOX has multilayer encryption engine ... license verification system
.. so this cann't be just bypassed by a flag jump.Secret registry keys are
set inside "system.dat" and "user.dat" files.In older versions [4.0] it
was very easy to find these keys using RegMon.But they have improved it.Newer
version use some kind of watermarking which can't be traced with RegMon.So
better backup your registry files.VBOX system actualy consists of one or
two dll files and a vxd file.
Another interesting file is "VSETupT.exe".This file can be found inside
programs protected by VBOX.It is used to generate lic files for trial
programs.Who knows this shit has the ability to unpack protected program.
Patching a VBOX dll has become realy difficult.I am not saying that it
is impossible.It was done by Victor Porguen [Must read essay -- victor.zip
].Using VIRUS Technology we can do it.
