Hi all, I know it's been awhile since I last posted on your boards, but I have been busy teaching myself how to reverse Macintosh OSX software. During that time, despite extensive searching, I have uncovered only three OSX reversing boards...I don't know if that is because the scene is still small--tiny actually, or because all the boards post serial numbers. It's probably a combination of both. Anyway, I was surprised to discover that x86, both Linux and Microsoft OS, boards were more helpful for me than the Mac ones. I found only two essays and/or tutorials during this time and both taught techniques I had figured out a long time ago. So, although I realize I still have a lot to learn, I think now that I have something to teach.
I would like to write an essay to post on RETs site. However, I am not sure if anyone would really be interested in reading it. The assembly, as you all know, is completely different...although I do use many of the same tools x86 Linux reversers do.
What do you all think? Should I write it, or wait until a more appropriate time/setting?
Thanks,
rous
