I borrowed a software from work and i need to run it at home for Uni work purposes.

I installed the program but whenever i try to open the program, I get this error message "Sentinel not found". I have done some reading on it and I require some "dongle" usb which has an embedded chip in in. I do not have the original device. Just the software.

Is it possible for me to crack the software or bypass it without having the original dongle ?

I hope someone can help me out as I need it for Uni project. If you need I can send the software to you.

This is the software

If you already have software + dongle at work place, why do you not dump dongle data there and use it at home as you prefer?
