i recently downloaded a program, this program already has the reg files, a patch for the main .exe and all the emulator files to run.. works great. problem i have now, is that there is an updated version of the program that requires a fresh install, and the emulator doesnt work with it, im wondering if there is a way to edit what i have to get it to work? or should i try to contact the users who made the reg/emulator files?

maybe what i should eb asking is, whats the importance of the reg files, and patch? i think the reg files are what is dumped from the original hasp, and the patch is what tells the .exe of where to look for the new hasp, isthat correct?

if you have paid for emulator you can call service and tell for the problem.

Fresh install probably have new drivers that detects emul.

what type of emul do you have?

its a vusb emul..i dont know any more then that. downloaded from the net and it worked with my program. i think the reason why it isnt working with the update is because the dongle must be looking in another area for the key, and my emul doesnt have it. so i need to find it..or find out where the new program looks for it at
