Usually I am able to solve most problem by reading and trying.
But I am pulling what hair I got left over this dongle thingie.
It is time I ask for some help here.

I have been trying to find a way to make a "backup" of this dongle for months.
Done a lot of reading and tried a bunch of utilities.
Nothing seem to work on it.

At this point, I am so confused, I am not even sure what type of dongle it is anymore.
It is an USB dongle made by Aladdin System for a Bernina Embroidery sewing proggie.
Purple/Blue in colour, printed Max 216-50 on one side, HASP HL on the other.
My wife was told that if she ever lost or break that thing, she will have to but that expense
program again.
I just wish to made a clone or an emulator for this dongle, so she can safe keep the original.

But being a noob at this, so far no luck.
Reading the threads in this forum, it appears others also ran into the same problems.

Toro Monitor cause the program not load and gives a "Unknown security Error".

HASP-HL 2008/2007 will get a Password and make a dump, but each dump is of different file size.
EdgeTool cannot convert the dump due to "wrong file size for a dump".

Can someone please confirm what type of dongle it is ?
Can it be clone or emulated ?

Thanks
jt

Made some progress this afternoon.
Installed a fresh copy of WinXp and the Bernina program.
Installed USBFilter for Toro Monitor.
With Toro running, target software will not finish loading due to "Unknow Security Error".
ToroMonitor never shown any data on the screen, but it did produce a Log File.
It is incomplete because the program never finish loading.
The Log is about 930K in size. Is it Suppose to be this large?

h6api.exe + SRM driver does not work on this dongle.
h6api cannot find the dongle.
Also, it appears that SRM Runtime overwrite the original driver. With SRM driver installed,
nothing else, no even the original software can see the dongle.
Is it safe to conclude that this dongle is not SRM?

I did manage to get h5api working, it found the dongle and produced 2 dumps.
Hasp.dmp at 1kb, and hhl_mem.dmp at 4kb.
However, when I try to use UniDumpToReg.exe to convert the dumps to a Reg. File,
UniDumpToReg.exe gave a "configuration Error" and refused to load.
Can anyone help solve that problem?

Thanks

The program will not finish loading with Hasploger either.
But it did make a log.
It also identified the dongle as Hasp Time.
What type of dongle is that?
