Hello,
After having googled a bunch of time and having come around here several times due to my searches, I'll post my question. I'm not a programmer at all, but I like to learn. So. Someone gave me a ssp file emulated form a sentinel dongle. Sentinel driver is installed and the ssp acts as the original dongle on my system. But, a new version of the app used by this dongle has been updated and the actual ssp file doesn't allow me to upgrade to the new version. The guy who gave this ssp file does'nt want to share his method and prefer me to refer to him. But, I dont like begging and I would like to know if some tools would allow me to open a ssp file in a readable format and modify the infos contained in it and save it in order to use my new version? or, do I need the ORIGINAL dongle?
Sorry if the question is stupid but as I said I waould like to know how it works. I can give the ssp file to someone who want to look at it and give me some explanations. or, if someone could explain me, in really simple workds what is exactly a ssp file and what it is supposed to do.
Best regards from here.
