PACE protection hints?

Hi folks,

I'm pretty new here and in the Fine Art of RE... what a great board.

Is there anyone that would like to share the average "how-does-works?" the PACE protection using challenge response authorization often used in music applications.
-cubase and nuendo of steinberg
-waves audio plugins
-max/msp of cycling74

I searched topics on the board about PACE but I can't find anything?
Is that so unkown or ??
