deploy lx?

Alright I have an application also protected with deploy lx. Has there been any new info on reversing these? From what I heard, someone was close but not there yet, but that was around 2 months ago. I am not attempting to get the application to work, rather this one simply has code of which I wish to access (finding an encryption scheme).
