Sentinel SuperPro Emulation with decrement counter?

The program software counts down the numbers of uses and in the newest update obviously compares the value in the dongle with the substracted value.

Multikey runs fine until it comes to this comparison. The software is not able to substract the counter cell in the registry. Or is there a way?

Cannot use Sentemul anymore (that counted down perfectly) since the software now obviously recognizes a running sentemul2007.exe.

Please give me a hint how to solve this.

Which version of MultiKey. V18.0.3 should be fine. Does your reg file have the Write Password (cell 4)?. I believe MK does not need the WP for normal cell Write, but Decrement may be different. Also, what about the access code for the cell that is decremented?. It should be 2

First of all, the access code is 2 (I experimented with 0 as well). I am running MK 18.0.3 indeed. No write password defined in cell 04 (value 00 00).

It must be some kind of new routine to query the remaining number of counts twice: Before and after the sprodecrement.

Unfortunately the sentmon version 2.01 fails when it becomes interesting ;): At this point with sentmon activated I get a blue screen and have to reboot.

I think emulators that ignore the Write Password are incorrect and I would never do that in my own emulator. You have just proved the point. I suggest you email the author and let him know. He has posted his email address on ru-board in the past.

I thought my sent monitor was Toro´s, because that is what it says in the "about"?!

But you have lead me to a new idea. Maybe my PVA 3.3 dump was not "determined" enough. To tell the truth, I was to chicken to tick "Brute WP" to beware my physical dongle of harm ;)
Could a dump ticked with "B WP" lead to a filled cell 4? Or will I just roast my dongle?:confused:

if you have the same dongle that you dumped with edge and run it with sentemul
so your dongle is SSPRO so you can check B WP and may be you can get your WP ,your dongle will not be roasted will be BBQed :D

and if your dongle have simple algo WP should be retrieved from this algo
i suggest to run app with your dongle and monitor it with
you will get useful information ;)

That is exactly what I did: First run sentemul and try to BF with sspro the write Password...no result concerning the wp in cell 04 (00 00).
Then - taking a little more risk - I did the same thing with the original physical dongle. Again no resulting wp in cell 04.
As a matter of fact the couple of algos are solved pretty fast and it looks as sspro does not even make an effort to BF the WP.

Your advice to run the app and monitor the information exchange between dongle and app is only partially possible with sentmon 2.01. At the most exiting monitoring point the monitor crashes and results in a windows blue screen. Does not seem to be compatible with the newest sentinel drivers.
