Is there another simpler way of performing the above on a target? For some reason, defining the variable FLEXLM_DIAGNOSTICS 2 trick does not output the standard messages when the application checks out license FEATURE names.
The vendor probably removed that functionality in their FLEX API considering a lic generator has been released recently in the warez scene.
Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you can find them in flm logs in exe's or dll's files. But as Bfox said tell the daemon or target name.

I saw the crypter by xf group for this daemon. Looks like no patch is needed.
example feature line looks like:
FEATURE module1 discreet_l 1.000 1-jan-0 0 1234567890999999ABCD \
HOSTID=DLHOST
DLHOST is given by apps. So you must play by yourself and find feature names.

[please don't quote whole messages]
Stefan,
thanks for the info unfortunately the vendor probably introduced a new feature name in their licensing scheme.
