Hello Everyone!

My boss works with a program that uses a dongle (more precisely: SentinelPro in a LPT port), and he wants to work without the (ugly and old) device.

I found many tools to emulate a Sentinel SuperPro dongle, but nome for SentinelPro. How could I proceed?

As far as you can get access to your dongle's Boss, dump his dongle with this tools quickly. :D

Well, I have the UCL Sentinel Emulator 2.20 (I think :p ) and the Sentinel Pro Dump File (spro.dat).

How could I proceed?

It was well known that the actual dongle of sentinel-superpro is strongest than sentinelPro. Many newbies able to get solution easely if they will emulate so many old superpro dongles. :)

On the contrary, For newbies like us, Finding a free emulating-solution for sentinelPro is difficult than sentinel-superpro. :D

Better you upload your dump and we hope that a senior will show us the spro.reg for the use of UCL sentinel emulator 2.2. Later, we will use the spro.reg for our learning process. :)

Actually, the security used on that emulator is a great first time target for anybody wanting to learn how to disassemble. Find a version of IDA, do the tutorials then load up the .sys and you should be able to find the security algo without too much trouble. As a side efeect, you will be well on the way to finding the format of input information it wants too. So prra & tilt - here is a very good chance to learn a skill you can use on many other things. You could even write a tutorial on how you did it and help other people.

Thats the problem! I dont know even where to start! I have the dongle, I have the program that needs the dongle, but didnt find any turorial to help me! :eek: :(

start learning or go to paid service let them help you in exchange they will ask for money
