I have a purchased CAD program that I use daily. It is protected by a Rainbow Sentinel C-Plus ongle thingy. I have upgraded my hardware and noticed there is no LPT port for the dongle. I cannot use the program until this is resolved. I have read all threads here but have not gotten the program to work. Is there any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

2 choices.
Put it on a machine that has port and emulate it.
Since you own it, get a replacement usb dongle.

The manufacturer of the program almost certainly uses a USB dongle now. Get it upgraded.

The SW supplier may allow you to swap out the dongle with a newer version at no additional cost - if you can provide them with the original dongle.

Otherwise, aside from the aforementioned suggestions, you can also reverse the program yourself and bypass the dongle protection (or) find a bootleg copy of the program online.

What is the software name?

At this point, going back to the vendor would is not an option, as I have not been on maintenance for two years and they want ridiculous money for swapping the key. Doesn't make sense I know, but I'm not prepared to pay that. I've looked at emulation, but there is very little out there for C-plus, it all seems relevant for Superpro and later. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to emulate my key? I already have a dump file, but can't seem to get a emulator to run the program.
Thanks.
