Hello everybody,
I am brand new to this forum and the chances of me being very offset of my goal to unpacking game data is tremendous.
I used IDA 4.9 to Disassemble, I'm not sure if they're the same as unpacking, but I disassembled .pck & .pak files. I disassembled them into binary and hex, but for the data or unexplored ( i'm not sure which)
The data or unexplored are displayed in strange character similar to that when opening a newer version of Microsoft word using an older one.

What could this mean?
My binary codes also has alot of 00 which represent .
Is this suppose to this way?
If there are articles to read about unpacking data, it is much appreciated.
Many thanks. :]
