Hello,

I apologize in advanced for a relatively generic and ignorant question. I have tried browsing the forum but maybe am not using the correct search terms!

Anyway, I have a program using Sentinel hardware keys. I am able to dump/solve and emulate these keys no problem. The software has various levels of licensing, to which you put in 8 character codes to unlock certain modules. I have existing codes, but need to generate different codes to unlock other features/modules. Does this make sense?

Is there a way to reverse engineer the algorithm used to generate these license codes? I have access to various keys with their respective codes.

Thanks for the help!

make sure u can make emulator for sentinel hardware key(SHK) then post ur sample lic code here...

Thank you for the reply!

I have the dmp and reg file. Is that what you were looking for, or did you want the license codes too?

Okay, this is the reg file I can emulate successfully with mkey:

SHK?
Hmmm that reg file is useless coz of no public emulator can emulate SHK.
Only private.

Sorry for my ignorance, but yes this is a USB hardware key. It is emulated and recognized by the software, but you are saying given the key type, we cannot generate the 8 character license codes needed by the software? The codes are static and don't change based on PC.

[Please DO NOT quote whole messages, it is unnecessary]

Sentinel advanced medic detects physical key as Superpro (SHK count is none).
