Wow - I downloaded IDA Pro 4.9.863 and it's very nice! In fact, it's is a work of art IMO. I've been away from reversing for a several years and now I'm happy to see such an improvement in the tools. Last night, finding and watching (in the debugger) a target app's serial generation algorithm in action was so much fun (vs. the agony I was going thru using Windbg) I can hardly wait to play with some of the tools and plugins to record the specifics of that algorithm tonight. The huge number of cool things this disassembler/debugger can do makes reversing such an enjoyable way to spend a few (zillion) hours :-) There are also many great plugins that add even more magic to this amazing tool. I I got ver 4.9 for free but this proggie is so cool I'm buying the latest 5.0 version.
