Unknown Protection - Program only works with an ISA card

Hi all,

I came across this program that only runs on this old machine running Windows 95, when copied to another Win95 PC, software doesn't run, it opens up the Menu but cannot select any entries.

I also found that it has a card in the ISA slot which I removed and the software gave the same symptom of not selecting the entries.

Can someone kindly walk me through the RE process? I'd be very grateful, Thanks.

Extract the archive to C:\ (It should look like C:\Program) and send a shortcut to the desktop of MACS.BAT, as I found on the original PC.

I saw a FAST E Y E chip on the ISA Card, but searched the forum with nothing that resembles this type of Card. Tried almost all the softwares mentioned here but all gives errors. May be because I'm running it on Windows 95.
I'll try to format to Windows XP and run the program, if it works, I'll try the softwares to dump again.

@Bfox - Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it and after reading most of the relative threads here I managed to get a dump.

However I'm facing difficulties locating seeds. I tried H224.exe and it gave me 11 sets of 3 seeds, which is correct?

Also tried with unidump2reg, it generated a lot of .fs0-.fs9 files.

I tried HL-EMUL [copy hardlock.sys to sys32/drvrs folder but no success.(used mylock builder to make .fst file with first set of 3 seeds.) no luck..prog still dont run.

which will be the best emulator to use, multikey? i'm running win98 now, prog doesnt run on xp even with dongle..only work on 16bit computers.

Can anyone kindly share a 9xHL_Emulator, I've got a weyexxxx.386 file after reading this thread:

but I cannot find any emulator to use it with, link given in readme file that came with the weye file says the emulator has been removed.[too old]

Also, no name for this emulator was given that I can use it with, I've search here and google, those two threads are the closest to my problem, but without the emul, i'm stuck.
