Sorry for the shameless spreading of the word but I thought all on this forum might be interested. Reverse Engineering Team (RET) is now going to be hosting in partnership with c4n Reversity information seminars.
These seminars will be covering a wide range of topics and will ultimately be guided by feedback as to which topics are of most need, and interest.
The seminars will be held on a monthly basis at #reversity on EFNet and will be open to anyone to attend, and materials if needed will be distributed at the start of the sessions. A different teacher will be teaching at each session and the sessions will be held monthly on the first Sunday of every month at 12:00 (GMT-5), that's 17:00 for the GMT inept ;)
The standard seminar will be roughly 2 hours in length and sometimes longer depending on the amount of conversation with regards to the topic. Materials will be received at the start, so show up early, and questions can be asked throughout or at the end, depending on the teacher/topic. Targets will usually be provided if needed in the form of crackmes or similar to keep things in the grey.
The difficulty of the seminars will be around intermediate, wherein we'll cover concepts so those new to the topic can follow along, but those advanced can expand knowledge, and ask questions later into the seminar to learn more.
FYI: The first seminar will cover .NET Reversing for various protections, and will be lead by LibX
We're hoping to get a page up on the reteam.org site covering the future topics, teachers, and schedule sometime in the next little bit.
If you got any questions feel free to stop by the channel, it's open now.
cheers,
Devine Right
