Need good DOS reverser

Hi all i have one dos program that have disabilitate some function, i have tried in ida dissemble it but I'm not very good at it. oly dbg and some other debuggers blocks because it have some segs that are out of range. Maybe some traps maybe not.
It have some connections with Motorola processor i think 6809.
