It will almost certainly be in the reg file, but finding could be anything from easy to impossible. If you can find somebody else with another dongle and a different expiry date it would help. Other than that, reverse engineering the application is about the only way. You coul always try randomly changing one sntMemory value at a time, you may get (extremely) lucky.

If you have 2 dongle dumps with 2 different expiry dates, then there is a good chance you will be able to find the format of the expiry date. Then you can try changing it. Chances are there will be a CRC check, but that should be a good start.

I followed the instructions to dump and generate a reg-file from my sentinel superpro, using it on multikey.
Even though I am a newbi, everything works fine :) thanks to the information provided by this forum -

exept for one dongle with a decrement cell.
This one worked in the past with sentemule (decremented as the dongle itself), but sentemule does cannot be applied after the latest software update. So I turned to multikey.
Obviously the updated Software compares the decremented value with the former and breaks up due to not being able to reduce the account.
Is there any possibility for multikey or vusbus to emulate a decremented cell?? Alternatives?

hi everybody i trid to find an aswer, but afte few hour of research her is my question...:eek:

When i run install.bat it finds new ru-board dongle emulator but cannot install its drivers
as per y8y8y8y's instruction the emulator should not ask for drivers.
I tried to reinstal, install the new sentinel driver, nothing work

Can Someone help me? :D

i admit i have not read the whole thread, but i have a problem with the dumper prog.

i run the pva 3.3 and it says:
- local scanning...
- subnet scanning...
-- check tcp servers
- no server responded to the client boradcast. there is no server running in th... (i can't read the rest)
- check ipx servers
no server responded to the client boradcast. there is no server running in th... (i can't read the rest)

Edit: it is a rainbow super pro dongle i am trying to dump...

and this the very same whether i able/disable brute WP or not.

can it be, that this is because i have already made a dump of my dongle with another prog? i used the sspro_dmp.exe that came with sentemul2009... ( i still have the .bin file!! is that of any use? can i just use that with another emulator? (vusbus?) )

It's like many people say, read read read try try try, you can learn so much reading, but learn a lot more, if you try and read again.
I promess to all of you that I will make a tutorial in spanish (my language) with all programs (actualizated if you give me your permission) and the all instruction with my experience.

Glad it worked for you Sergio. SO much better to have done it yourslef and learned something. Begreat if you do a tutorial, but (with all respects to y8^4) things have moved on a bit since that tut was written, particularly with the tools available and emulator versions. Preferred route now would be pva 3.3 dumper to make dump, dmp2mkey to convert dump to reg file, then use MultiKey V18.1.0 as the emulator. All are posted here.

Hi i have read this thread and follow the steps but if i want to start the f1_nodongle.exe after i have make a dump and get dump file, it doesnt works or windows dont allows it to start with xp or vista, is the same.I try to open it with cmd but it shows me he didnt know the comand?whats wrong.The making dump is make but the f1_nodongle is needed to make a reg file as next step.

maximus - Use PVA 3.3 to dump dongle data. Convert dump data to reg file using dmp2mkey. Install Multikey emulator on PC. Restart PC. Install reg file to registry. Restart emulator using restart.bat. That's all.

NB : the program accepts 2 "types" of Dongle :

The first (superPro LPT) that gives not all options in the program : I used edgespro then Sentemule2007: works perfectly but without "all options"

The second (this Ultrapro USB) for "full options" : failed dumping with edsgepro (it can't dump cell N° 10) so I try here with this tuto.

uff, if you would not be so lazy and try search engine you will find out that there is NO free solution.
If you really need backup your legally purchased key you have to contact some of commercial emulation service and dont ask here, just use google.

I purchased this software and the guy who sent it sent it with a dongle that when you put it inside creates a ruboard dongle. I am very angry that I was ripped off however he seems to have disappeared. I am trying to make a backup of this dongle now and when I use spro dumper I get 2 DMP files.. When converted using ssp2dmp I get 2 reg files. I have attached 2 sets of zips.

I also have a third reg file that the dongle installs which I have attached.

I tried using multikey but doesn't work I guess because as you said it is different. When using vUSB it activates trial version of software only and I must reinstall. When reinstalled and I plug in original dongle everything works as it should..

Can you provide any assistance?

Thanks for the OP instructions, and thanks for all the comments/knowledge from helpful people.

I successfully emulated the dongle (doing this for backup purposes if dongle breaks) and the monitoring software shows it. However the program is DOS based and says "cannot open COM1 port as requested" as if the key is not attached.

Any ideas on what to do?

So I looked into it a bit more, and under the device manager, it showed up (which makes sense) but under a usb to ethernet program it did not show.

Looked at the device manager resources and apparently it has a conflict with the pci bus. Am trying to change that now, but if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Any resource I put I/O range says conflicting with PCI bus.

i have try it with vUSB on vista 32 bit and everythink work fine
stell the probleme on win7 X64 noways to get good result i have try with multikey 0.1801 to 0.1803 with devcon.exe for x64 and allready the same problem UNIT NOT FOUND

if somebody have best luck then me and have sentinel emulating process work on winmo 7 x64 then i am waiting for sharing solution

After following all the instructions i have managed to get it almost working, My Emulated Sentinel Superpro show up in device manager, But i cant get the Emulated dongle to be reconised in the licence manager of the Software i am hoping to use?

Any suggestions would be great.

I can see the device in device manager now. But, My scenario was a bit different. My USB physically connected to a Linux machine, I shared USB from there to the windows machine, made a dump with dumper.exe and emulated the device. Question is that can I share this emulated device to other machine?

Now I have a new laptop with NO parallel port.
Is it possible to put the emulator info at another addy/location to simulate on a USB port?
or make the laptop think it has a parallel port?

Use a virtual USB emulator such as MultiKey. The application will not care or even know about the parallel port if it is a windows app. If it is a 16bit DOS app you are screwed.

The software is a CNC design and machining program.
