Hi,
First of all I want to say that I don't have any Hasp HL dongles so this thread is more theoretical than practical.
I am reading about Hasp HL emulation and I want to understand some things more clearly.
From what I read Hasp4 and Hasp HL that is in Hasp4 mode can be emulated. There is many emulators that can handle those plugs, but what if you have "native" Hasp HL dongle?
HaspHL2007 with EDGE may do so, but there is some problem in dumping mechanism of this emulator. Is there any other dumpers that support HaspHL2007 format?
The second way is with vUSB emulator that support Q/R tables, but are those Q/R fix? I mean if I create Q/R table on one computer in X time, will the same tables be on second computer at Y time?

Well, i'm on cracking since 98 and just this year I had interest on dongle cracking.

At my job we cannot upgrade our laptops because we need to use 2 versions of programs that uses dongle at serial port.

One of them is a HASP4, easy to emulate with those softwares that we can find on the net.

Another one is an SSI Actvator, that I couldn't find a good emulator, so I will code an driver to replace the original one.

Also, I have a program that uses a HASP HL, but I'm still stuck on dump part, I always get a .bin file.
Ive tried the h5dmp but I can't get the .reg file to use with the emulator.

Reading this forum I found some possible solutions for my problem that I'll try next week.

Now I'll start to code my own emulator, not for HASP HL (maybe later), I'll start with something easier, like SSI Activator.
