help about OllyDbg

Hi,all.
I have a problem about using od.
when i load a exe file written by vb,it seems that od can't find the right entry of the file.
od show "7C918FEA FF40 10 INC DWORD PTR DS:[EAX+10]" as the first code of the program,ofcourse should not! there also have a wrong message like "Exception C0000005[ACCESS_VOILATION] Shift + run/step to pass exception to the program".
Someone told me its because of the version of my ollydbg,so i dowloaded all the versions from http://www.ollydbg.de and tried,fialed all.
Who would like to tell me why and how to fix such problem?

i guess:
1 sometimes VB program will choose any OS version for Running.
like some VB program just only run in English OS. not run in chinese OS, change OS for trying.

2 use any type OD, now have a lot of version OD can be choosed . standard (not being modified . is origend version)
modified version like fly, CaoRong, pediy version . hehe a lot of

some times u will try any diffrent version.

3 kill software
some times safe software also do any thing for prevent Debug.
check it .
