How to check if Superpro is blocked for writing

Hi,
I know that there are some limits for write attempts using the wrong password on the keys. How could be checked if the key is still ok for writing?

said in another way: after a dump with Brute WP, will the Safenet superpro dongle still be useable for a read-only license checking, but no for writing (updating the key)?

Information from the SDK:
SuperPro includes two password counters for Write and Overwrite Passwords. The default
value of password counters is 15. If someone tries to crack the write/overwrite password
with brute force (using 15 or more tries), the write/overwrite operations are blocked. The
password counter value 0 indicates that the write/overwrite operations are blocked.
You can make the simple tool to check the write function. It can be checked by the function RNBOsproGetKeyInfoEx(). This function return also Write password counter (and Overwrite password counter for OWP1 & OWP2). Write password counter is zero if you block write operations while brute force WP or set to 255 (FFh) if the dongle isn't support the password counter feature (you can brute force WP in this case).
