i hope someone really experienced give us any final infos about properly emulation of this old key. I ask many people and noone can help me :( Problem is that key hasnt been so massively used as SuperPro version.

can anyone give some info on which encryption method was used in spro.dat and how to decrypt it?

also, which sentinel.sys are we talking about? is it the 17kb emulator which seeks ssp file or the other one that seeks se file or something else entirely?

This is not an emulator, it is just a dump, probably use it to decrypt it and obtain this internal connection scheme.

For emulator sharing i make only trial (eg 30 days ) for educational purpose only.;)
The problem is not solved how to decrypt the dump file "spro.dat" ?

Please, dont be liar. You request for the emulator money! You know that.
From spro.dat you cant make decrypter. You have to reverse the dumper.

You cant read? You have to reverse encryption routine from the dumper. You are reverser, arent you?

Does anyone know how to emulate the Sentinel Pro (old Rainbow dongle, not the super pro)? Apparently there is some code out there (looks like assembly), but not sure what to use to compile this or how to make it work as an emulator.

Did anyone solve how to decrypt the SPRO.DAT that readsp.exe creates from the SentinelPro dongle?

Iv ben trying to solve this for to long now.
Id hate to buy myself a new computer just cos one program refuces to read the dongle if its not in a "real" lpt port. hehe

Sure looks like a Pro reg file to me.

The hints was the UCL can support Pro type dongle very good and the reg format almost same as SSP but one byte need change.;)
One more hints for Pro dongle was the SPRO.DAT format define:
