Hello All,

Let me start by saying I have searched quite a bit, both FAQ and half a dozen .ru's searching for any quides, tools and work arounds. It is only after all this that I am resorting to this post.

I have a program that uses a Macrovision FLEXid dongel.(Pro 321-60 FELXid= 9-49FFEA35) As I understand it this is an Aladin HASP4 dongel. I have been working with HASPHL2007 and 2008, edgehasp, vcredist_x86, h4dmp, hasploger, unidmp2reg, etc. I have dumped my dongel using both HASPHL07&08 but when I try to convert to .DNG with unidmp2reg it says I have wrong .dmp file size. I researched this a little with poor results but did find a guide in these forums documenting how to do this sort of thing by hand I guess. Making your own Q&A tables from useing the HASP monitors. Problem is my Dongel looks for these and will not reconize while they are running. I have used several support tools that try to hide the monitor from the software program and dongel but no luck with that.

I think I just need to convert the dump into a .DNG and then load it with any of these fine emulators but I seem to be stuck. Any "smart ass" ;) search tips would be greatly welcomed as I am willing to do the leg work just need a little push in the right direction thanks!

Ok I can convert from .DMP to .DNG but when I do, the next step is to load into HASPHL2007 emulator right? Well when I do I get a memory error and blue screen of death. xhasp.sys is causing the problem it looks like. Any ideas? Is there a step I am not doing with the edge tool?

Again I just need a little push in the right direction. I am not just asking for somebody to do it for me, cause I need to learn the process. Thanks!^_^

When I dump with HASPHL2007 the box "HASP/HL Dongles" has a value in it XXXX:XXXX these are my two keys right? And when using Edgehasp there are 4 tabs the first tab is Keygen this is were I input those keys right? After that I use the HASP tab to convert my.DMP into .DNG and load that into the 2007 emulator. But that is were I am still getting the memory errors and blue screen of death resulting from xhasp.sys... Guess I will let these questions rest over night..

Ok I fixed my posts.

Also just got a demo emulator from a dongle service based on the dump file I mentioned above. It is working. I am going through most all of the software to make sure that it stays that way. But the thing is, they got a .DNG file from my dump so the dump is good. But when I make .DNG from Edgetool it loads but crashes to windows blue screen?? I will double and tripple check my use of the tool to make sure I am using it right.. But as always a push in the right direction would be welcome!

:D :D :D

I had been using the wrong dongle ID. It always is some simple shit like that.. Well anyway thanks for letting me use your forums for venting at least. I think I will put together a Newbie user guide for HASP/HL dongles.. Looks like the push is not needed! :)

HI... I have read your 3 posts... But with the first you confuse me.. and whith the second... really don't understand nothing... But I'll try tell some about this....
I have a questio... Your dongle is HASP4 ? what ? Time, memory ? ... Ok never mind...

When the blue screen appear after to run hasphl2007/8 mean that there are conflict with the emulator drivers.... In my case... I use Vusb Emulator, hasphl2007, hasphl2008, HaspemulatorPE2.33, ... and I forget uninstall the driver when finish... and then run hasphl2007 and blue screen is displayed.. I recomend to you that uninstall all drivers... and then use one by one..... To me this is the solution for the blue screen.....

Ok.. if you know that you dongle is HASP4... Only need hasphl2007... Effectively, the 8 number that appear in hasp/hl window that Dump Tab are the pass for your dongle.... If you get the .DMP file... Use the Edge tool and Try this:

In HASP tab, load the .DMP file, indicate the loc and name that .DNG file and press tab.... Smile if... the dumping is successfull กก

Open the HaspHL2007... Start the service, in the tab Dongles Load the .DNG file generated... Run your soft... If the dongle differ to HAsp HL max, SRM... You Did it... Uff.. do you have phone ? Is tired write, and write... (It's a joke)

Ok so you are spot on about the driver conflict.. That was causing the blue. And I did get a good dump with HASPHL2007 the problem was I was generating the .DNG before I resolved the license using the first tab. Also when I was pulling my HASP id from a USB monitor I copyed and pasted the wrong part of the HASP ID. So after fixing the HASP id and then making sure I used EdgeHASP in the right order I have it working now.. I just need to make sure all the features of the software are working.. It is a very large program and has many many features..... But so far so good. Thanks for your reply.
