Hasp4 / Hasp Hl ?

Hi all,

I encounter a strange case:

I found a dongle that is marked "HASP HL" physically, but the dongle produce 2 HASP4 style passwords (1234:5678) format. Checking through TORO dongle monitor I can see there are HASP HL enc / dec activities and memroy content.

I tried to emulate using HASPHL2007 and program run only for a while and said "dongle removed".

I am confused. Can anybody explain what happened and which kind of dongle emulator should I use?

Hasp4 or Hasp HL password is same pattern, but different is hasphl is enveloped protected based solution, use the toro monitor if there is show Data and response encrypt/Decrypt logs, its mean ur key is hasphl, other wise hasp4.

Both Hasp4 and Hasp-HL can protect a program with Envelope protection.

Both Hasp4 and Hasp-HL provide Encryption and Decryption, albeit quite different. Hasp-HL does both types.

Please don't try to advice others if you do not know what you are talking about, it just causes confusion.

some body not read my comments properly, where I wrote the hasp4 is not enveloped protected?


Also every body is still confused because (haspHL) is not easy solution same like (hasp4), some body understand about this is that he get the log file with software and make the solution auto, every body is wrong here, must mach to log with software body logs then he will working another nothing, however, hasphl solution is still manually working want not auto.

I think there is very easy way to know hasp4 or HL, dump it with h5dmp. If you will get hasp.dmp and hhl_mem.dmp then it is hasp hl, if only hasp.dmp you have hasp4.

I agree with u (y8y8y8y) hasp4 dmp date maximum size 719 bytes to 736 bytes if u make h5dmp or h4dmp.

I agree with Git. What souze_villy has mentioned actually can't let one differentiate between hasp4 & hasp hl.

:mad: :confused: souze_villy, Git, yinhuo or foffa and some other guys, if u hv really good solution then u must make emulator of any software Please show here why you are confused to all? If u don't have knolwedge about hasphl please closed ur talking and go to study room if u found good solution then write here another please I request to all don't give wrong information us I don't need ur wrong phrases. I hope next time ur write good IDea. some senior cengineer, tyrus, sataron, toro and little good some others ........... if have knowledge then want money not give free soluiton, why he is involved here if he is not give good Idea, if some here is wrong, then correct him tell right way but he understand that here is not get money so he don't tell any good IDEA. :mad: :confused:

I used h5dmp and I get 2 files : hasp.dmp and hhl_mem.dmp
but inside the hhl_mem I see just my software's name and full og dots,nothing special!
what do you think? is that HASP4 or HASP HL?

hmm insteresting, quistion, I am 100% sure if ur file have this code its mean 100% hasp hl.57,42,50,54,01,00,00,00,70,00,00,00,00,00,21,11

here is content of my hhl_mem file:

As you see I have deleted the middle part,it is nothing but full of FFFFs or 0000s!!
Can I help to recognize?

Then I will be in trouble,because I used TORO and Sataron's monitors both, but with TORO the program detect the monitoring and won't run and with Sataron,although the program is running,but monitor shows nothing and empty!
