Dongle dmulation

Could anyone here please tell me whether is it really possible to emulate the dongle of my software "CANOPUS EDIUS PRO 3" ???????

I am quite excited whether is it really possible?????

I am using this software from the last one year and the only problem is that i cant use my software on my two computers at the same time, as it requires a dongle which is blue in colour and it is written "HASP" on it. Also in the device manager section, under "USB serial bus controller", it shows "Aladdin HASP Key" & "Aladdin USB Key".

If it is really possible to emulate this dongle then please advice me how to do this magic. (this will really be a magic for me as till now it is hard for me to believe that this is really possible!!!!) -- Also please guide me what softwares should i need to emulate my dongle. Though i have downloaded HASPHL2007, EDGE, HASPHL2008, but what to do with these softwares i do not know the complete procedure. Please help me and guide me. I also dumped my dongle with HASPHL2008 and created a .dmp file, but it lead to no result, as i do not know what to do further.

Dont use v2008 (you can use only early version of v2008). Use v2007 and answers on all your questions are long time available in this forum. Just use search engine! I dont know why we should write again and again the same instruction if it was many times discussed here.

posts such as this should be deleted. this forum isn't one stop shop where you can drop by just like that and expect to receive what you want.

Respected Benito, thanks a lot for responding. In fact i created my .dmp file with v2008. Now as per your instruction i will certainly do it it v2007. Thank you once again for guidance.

Respected Vernon, first of all i m extremely sorry if i have hurt ur sentiments. Secondly i m quite surprised to read ur response for the deletion of my post. May be u r a very advance user and much intellectual and expert in this field, but as far as me myself is concerned, i m a newbie. and comments like urs can deepress any newbie. So please mind it in future. If you have got no heart to help then you have got no right to criticise.

Moreover i would like to tell u that i m not treating this forum as one stop shop where i can drop by just like that and expect to receive what i wish, rather i m moving here in this forum from the last one month and researched a lot but reached no result. I downloaded many softwares for emulation with the help of this forum, but due to lack of guidance i am unable to use them appropriately. So if you can help me in any way then u r most welcome, but if u r not able to help me then plz dont demoralize me.

i am sorry if my comment offended you. but you should know.. a month research (and you are already complaining about it, tsktsk) is nothing compared to what a lot of people around here have invested on the subject. they have provided the tools and all you have to do is follow simple instruction in readme but instead you started this thread sweet talking.

dongle emulation is not new. it has been around for along time already. the way i see it (and i can bet $10,000 for it).. you are not really interested in the emulation process nor how your dongle operate but rather just want to have a quickfix for the software that you are using (or stealing, maybe).

Once again i am extremely sorry if any of my words have hurt you. And be sure sir that i am using my own purchased software. It is a multimedia software and the name is "Canopus Edius Pro 3", i really feel lot of problem when there is a work load and i cant use my software on more than one computer due to dongle protection.

Anyway sir thanks a lot for ur response. I m still trying my level best to find answers to all my questions and confusions by the help of this forum, and today i came to know that my dongle is haspHL and also found out few softwares for its emulation. Please wish me a good luck so that i could solve my problems.

I am trying to dump my dongle with this software but when i double click the h5dmp.exe, a small black screen is visible for a very quick second, and then vanishes. Could anyone please guide me what wrong am i doing??? Any help will be highly appreciated from the core of my heart.

Comandline mean :D, I think u are soo new, go and click to the start\all programs\accessories\comand prompt.
Open the black screen there is show the c:\ prompt, file h5dmp must be in the c: Drive then use under bellow command.
write here manually, c:\h5dmp.exe 0x1234 0x5678 then also working too. Also please what u ask only use the one thread.

to be honest, dongle emulation is not for you as for the moment. how about you start from the very basic, that way you'll be spared from asking a lot of self discriminating questions such as the one above.

try these sites and learn as much as you can. forget about dongles for the moment.

my last advice would be this :

if you don't understand something, don't ask about it right away instead try to know it by yourself that way you can follow the breadcrumbs that leads to the cookie jar when someone answers your question.
