edit .dng?

can someone tell if a .dng file can be edited? i need to remove a serial, i can change a .reg file to remove serial, but not .dng.

Please I havnt understand, what tool you have used to obtain this dng ? remove a serial ?! you talk about a license ? explain more perhaps we can help you.

No you cant edit it. You could edit t if you can at first decrypt the dng file, but i dont think you have decrypter.

can anyone else help with decryption of .DNG files? i know i can edit the part i need in a reg file, then use ucl emul, that works (but alot of times the emul will not work and needs restart) but i want to use sentemul2007, so i try to take dump from ucl and other emul (with edited .REG file) using edgespro, but would not work?
any other thoughts on this?
EDIT: Is there another emul that uses a REG file (or unencryped file) that will allow edgespro11 to take dump, then i can edit REG file, load in other emul, take dump with edgespro and have an edited .DNG:)
