View Full Version : HASP4 emulator, using GE Proficy for PLC programming

I use GE's Proficy software to program PLCs. We have one dongle. We have several pilot plants that are controlled by GE 9030 PLCs.

I have hasphl2007.exe and edgehasp.exe. I can create a dump file with hasphl2007. I can create a dng file with edgehasp.

However, when I load the dng file, my pc crashes (blue screen).

I'll outline the exact steps that I'm taking:

1. Insert dongle.
2. Start protected software.
3. Start hasphl2007.exe
4. Verify that driver is loaded.
5. Start services on emulator tab.
6. Press Dump button on dump tab.
7. Start edgehasp.
8. Type dongle password (8 digit alphanumeric) into Licensed dongles - ID is HaspID on the Keygen tab.
9. Change the Ends at date to some far off date (6/25/2020) on the Keygen tab.
10. Press the Generate button on the Keygen tab.
11. Specify the Dump file location on the HASP tab.
12. Specify the DNG file location on the HASP tab.
13. Press the Solve button on the HASP tab.
14. Press the Load dump button on the Dongles tab in hasphl2007.
15. Select the dng file created by edgehasp.

When I do this last step, I get a bluescreen. xhasp.sys is referenced on the blue scree.

Any help on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

update hasp drivers

I updated the drivers and didn't get the blue screen. Thanks!

However, it's not emulating correctly. I can't open my protected software unless I insert the dongle.

I uninstalled the hasphl2007 driver, reinstalled, inserted the usb dongle, started the software, created the dmp file, solved it with edgehasp to create the dng file, loaded it hasphl2007. Hasphl2007 says Full License, but I still can't use the software. What am I leaving out? What and how am I supposed to use the keygen tab in edgehasp?

I can post my dmp file if that will help.

This forum is basically useless to someone like me. I don't have the time to become an expert in cracking. I'm trying to make it so I can program my PLCs in our plant without having to pack around the stupid dongle. I am a chemical engineer, not a software engineer.

I'm frustrated with the lack of help from this board.

Again, if there is some howto for hasphl2007 and edge, please direct me to it. Or if there is a howto for using vusbbus.sys, please direct me to it. I've googled this stuff. I'm afraid to go to most of the referenced sites for fear of getting some type of malware.

This forum isnt for people like you, so you can leave the forum as soon as possible.
If you need make this job without any effort, you can contact one of any commercial dongle backup services.

I sent app and dump to a member on this board who said they could create a dongle for me. I haven't heard from them since.

Do you want to clarify that your comment was about the jokes we made at your expense please?. People are going to infer that you sent us dumps which we sat on, which is most definitely NOT the case.

The comment was in reference to the jokes.

I preferred to not give the name of the user.

Who can help me to solve my installation of hasp emulator. My bad experience is like this. After the installation and i try to install the driver, itz appear like this"HLVDD.DLL does not give to unload the HARDLOCK driver". I tried to download again to get a new driver thru alladin.com but it seems like the same problem. Any can volunteer to see this. Thanks a lot.

Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\VirtualDeviceDrivers] in key VDD delete HLVDD.DLL - Reboot.

or search in Taskmanager for ntvdm.exe process and kill them. After that you can unload Hardlockdriver.

Hlvdd.dll are only needed for older 16-Bit or DOS-Progs.

Anyone else want to try to create a working emulator for my software? The person to whom I sent it hasn't done anything with it.
