The manhunt for a murder suspect is over.

Police were searching for 40-year-old Allen Deshaun Brandon of Decatur.

Decatur police reported that he was taken into custody Friday afternoon.

Brandon was charged under a warrant for murder in relation to the death of 44-year-old Jason Edward Tapscott last week.
