83% Black Detroit Labeled as One of Two US Cities to "Never Visit Alone." The Other? 65% Black Memphis

As of 2010, Detroit is an 83 percent black city. In fact, it's roughly seven percent white, when it was nearly 90 percent in 1950.

But the past is just that: the past.

Today, Detroit is now one of two American cities with a majority black population The Active Times has deemed to classify as a city to "Never Visit Alone." [Detroit listed as a city to "Never visit alone", Fox 2 Detroit, May 17, 2016]:
Would you categorize Detroit as being one of the most deadly cities in the country? What about the entire world?
The Active Times just named the city as the second of five you should (and we're quoting, here) "never visit alone" based on the city's crime rate.The list was built in response to a similar list about the most incredible trips for solo travelers and it comes with this warning (emphasis ours):

If you dare to travel to these cities, make sure you are with someone else. It’s always better to have two sets of eyes looking out. This offers increased safety and protection against the unknown.
As The Active Times explores the most dangerous cities to travel alone, it listed Mexico City as being number one based on kidnapping, robberies and assaults. In fact, it went so far as stating that the "U.S. Department of State issued a warning about traveling to certain places in Mexico due to threats and safety."
Number two on the list? Detroit.
The Active Times writes "Although Detroit is trying to make a comeback; it is still considered one of the most dangerous cities. Robberies, sexual assaults, murders, break-ins and drugs are controlling the streets."
From there, they cited stats from one precinct in Detroit where homicides went from 52 in 2012, 43 in 2013, 44 in 2014, and 46 in 2015. There are 12 precincts in Detroit and homicides were all from the 9th precinct.
Then the list moved on. Also on the list are Lima, Peru, and New Delhi, India, with Memphis, Tennessee rounding out the five cities.

83 percent black Detroit and 65 percent black Memphis, two of the world's most dangerous cities...

If nothing changes and our current anti-white paradigm persists, all of America will soon be labeled by what's left of the civilized as a landmass to never visit alone.

They forgot Birmingham, Alabama...around 73% black. It has been ranked in the top 10 most dangerous US cities to live in. I lived there for 2 years back in the late 1980's & it was just as bad back then.

And yes, nature will self correct if you let it.

I drove through alone, toured around a bit and went down what is probably the worst street in America with the collapsing/derelict buildings.

It's almost like they knew what was going to happen...with the 1 mile, two mile, 8 mile etc road.

8 mile was like paradise but it also depends where you go laterally.

These lists never take into consideration the difference between the US, western countries and the rest of the world. Although Detroit and Memphis are dangerous cities those are just dangerous cities in the US. They don't compare to any city on the northern border of Mexico with the US. They just can't compare to cities like Baghdad where mass murders occur almost daily. Mexico city and Lima Peru may be dangerous cities but they are infinitely more interesting to visit than any city outside of S. Africa. For that matter just about any city in Africa is dangerous to visit. I have no interest in visiting Detroit, but Memphis is a fun city so is New Orleans which also has a violent black population. Everything has to be put into perspective apparently the people who write these reports never bother to mention the racial demographics. Is there a city where whites are 99% of the population that are extremely dangerous? Maybe someone should explain why those cities don't exist or maybe they do somewhere in the backwoods of Siberia. I'd like to hear about it.

I notice you have the Moniker Bill the Butcher so perhaps you have read New York City and New York State history. In the 19th Century there was a section called Five Points (today west of Chinatown) that was widely known as a place of rampant violence and vice. It was alleged there were murders there every night among the (mainly) immigrant Whites. To this very day British sociologists and researchers cite the place to try to show urban crime, vice and "gun violence" have nothing to do with race.

That is true, I loved the movie Gangs of New York. Whites were extremely violent during this period. This type of violence continued to be commonplace in the twentieth century with Italian gangsters picking up where the Irish left off. We now live in a modern era, disputes can be settled through the legal system. There are plenty of jobs for those who are ambitious. Blacks in the US got left behind for two reasons one is they are not as smart or ambitious as whites and two they stay behind in dead cities once the jobs go overseas. Blacks are purposely kept on welfare in the US to serve as a base for Democrats. Blacks gladly accept their role as voter slaves for the Democrats even as their families imploded and their men got sent to prison. I can't explain the thinking, I don't think any black with half a brain can explain it.

I was raised in the metro Atlanta area, and currently reside a few minutes north of downtown. While I do agree that it is nigged out, I am fortunate that I personally never had anything bad happen to where I felt as though my life was in danger. And believe you me, I used to be a roughean who lived life on the edge, I took plenty of risks playing Russian Roulette with Atlanta niggerism.

I'm not proud to admit this, but several years ago I messed around with heroin a little bit. Anyone who is familiar with Atlanta knows about The Bluff, which is a ghetto ass neighborhood that's notorious for being the place to go to score. I had a regular dealer so I'd go to his house, but there was always plenty of nigs hanging out on the street corners selling open air. If a White person was driving or walking through that neighborhood, the nigs knew what Whitey was doing there. Rich White teenagers and kids in their early 20s from the surrounding upper class suburbs would be driving brand new Mercedes thru that run down ghetto. I also had another dealer who lived in the West End section of town. I'd take MARTA down to the West End station and meet him there or walk to his house. I'm very lucky that nothing bad happened to me while I was going through that ordeal. I'm a skinny little white girl who barely weighs 100 pounds, so I stuck out big time in Niggertown. Even though I liked heroin, I didn't like it enough to keep having to deal with niggers. I'm very lucky that I didn't get murdered by some thug, or that I didn't overdose on smack.

I guess my main point is that even though Atlanta has a reputation for being a dangerous nigged out city, I took basically the most dangerous risk a person can take, by getting myself involved in heroin drug dealing niggers. I am by no means claiming that Atlanta is as safe as Mr. Rogers neighborhood. There is plenty of violence and TNB that occurs here, and I don't recommend that anyone on this site go on a sightseeing tour to my old stomping grounds. I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones who took a stupid risk and wasn't harmed in doing so. I'm lucky also that I didn't let the heroin get ahold of me, and had no problem walking away from it. I have no desire to do it anymore.
