A Newbie's Guide To Trolling: How To Use a VPN To Troll

EDIT 3/3/16:

See my edit a little further down. Better explanations and links!

Hi, all!

In looking at the comments from our recent victory at NRO, I am seeing a lot of folks who perhaps don't know how to use a VPN to create numerous Disqus accounts to allow them to partake in the ShitLording. This is an easy way to get rolling, and requires only a modicum of computer/internet savvy. Hopefully, this will help swell the ranks of our Expeditionary Forces!

Download SoftEther and install it.
https://www.softether.org/5-download
Start it and choose a connection

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I create my sock accounts when connected to SoftEther

CLICK!

Log out of your normal Disqus account, and create a new one.
Create a throw-away email account, and Disqus will send a verification email to you.
I use maildrop; www.maildrop.cc

Verify the account and proceed.

There are MANY options for creating VPN's. I find this to be fairly quick und easy.
SALUTE!!

EDIT 3/3/16, BETTER INSTRUCTIONS:

Here's a "how to" VPN w/ instructions.

Register as many disqus accounts as you want using a throw away mailbox:

Do you know if this method works with twitter? They don't seem to like the VPN addresses I use at the moment.

#3

I have no idea...I don't use twitter, so...try it and if it works, let us know!

Heres some stuff that i use:
overview of VPNs:
That One Privacy Guy's VPN Comparison Chart

My favourites are:
https://www.octanevpn.com/ (Nevis Island)
https://vpn.ht (Hong Kong)
Both are cheap, say they dont log IPs, outside of US and EU, accept Bitcoin.

For creation of multiple accounts i recommend using a browser with multiple user profiles, so you dont have to log in and out again. I use Chromium Portable: http://sourceforge.net/projects/crportable/

If you need phone numbers to register accounts, you can buy virtual ones for 1$ per account here (Bitcoin):
http://virtualsim.net/

If you just need a new ip and dont care about privacy, free VPN/"Hotspot shield" plugins for Chromium often do the job.
For example Zenmate:

Here's a great VPN service that I've been using for a few years:

https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/

Right now, the year long subscription is $39.95. So, if you want a year of anonymous browsing, you would purchase a $40 gift card in cash, rather than using a debit or credit card. That way, there's no record of you specifically being the one who made the purchase.

Then, purchase Private Internet Access through their website simply by typing in the code on the back of the gift card. They provide you with a long list of different countries all over the world to choose from so that a new IP address will be traced to one of those places, rather than your personal IP address in the USA, or wherever it is you happen to reside.

It's been a while since I installed it...the whole thing should be ready to go when you install softether.
As I recall...
google softether and see what comes up...I remember just installing and trolling...if I left something out, lampshade me next time you see me ;^)

It doesn't look like the first pic above??

#12

hmmm...I think you have to install the "virtual network adapter"...which should be in the package??

#13

I just bounce around on free vpn services off Google play on my phone.
