This is the end of the line for the lyin' press.


I recently reported on Trump's meeting with the lugenpresse, where he called out this den of vipers for their lies and said he hated their guts.

At that time, I speculated that Trump would establish ground rules they would have to meet in order to have access to him, and thus ensure their survival. I mentioned that announcements and speeches could be posted on the internet, totally bypassing the dying media establishment.

Well, the madman actually did it.

He opened his own Youtube channel, where he's already posted two public announcements.

And believe me, the media has taken notice.

It seems Donald Trump is seeking to mend the fences of a tough campaign with the help of the Thanksgiving spirit.

"It's my prayer that on this Thanksgiving we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country strengthened by shared purpose and very, very common resolve," the president-elect said in a taped address released by his transition team — yet another end-around run on the press corps.

They really felt that one - let me tell you.

This article, ostensibly about his thanksgiving address, spends most of it's word-count whining that Trump is bypassing journalists by using social media.

Since becoming president-elect, Trump has used Twitter — a favorite of his during the campaign — to defend his business interests in the face of conflict of interest allegations, to attempt to spin coverage of a $25 million settlement in his Trump University fraud cases, to lash out at political foes, and even to turn his nose up at Saturday Night Live, which he himself hosted last November.

Additionally, Trump has incited feuds by way of tweet with news organizations, like the New York Times, and the cast of Broadway's Hamilton after they lectured Vice President-elect Mike Pence when he attended a performance last week.

Trump and his team have also been slow to adopt a "protective pool," a tradition that spans decades and allows a small group of reporters representing an array of media access to the president-elect, keeping them near in the event of breaking news or national security.


Hey, if something important, I'm sure he'll tweet about it. Don't worry.

Well... don't worry about us being informed.

The sound of your teeth chattering in fear for your future is like a sweet symphony to my ears.

That tradition was bucked most blatantly in the nascent days of Trump's time as president-elect. He eschewed precedent and barred the pool from flying with him on his plane when he went to Washington to meet with President Obama, and left our nation's capital without alerting the press to his movements.

Days later, he ditched the press for a family dinner, going to Manhattan's 21 Club despite a spokeswoman for his campaign giving a "lid" to the reporters assigned to the pool. The lid should have signaled an end to the day's activities for the president-elect.


I don't know exactly what went on in that meeting at Trump tower with the media people. Either Trump unilaterally declared war on them and announced he wouldn't cooperate with the press any longer, or he laid out guidelines that they failed to meet.

Either way, these announcements mean the Donald means business. Now the lugenpresse will either come crawling back to him, or lose the rest of their audience.

The media needs to totally be discredited and replaced with free speech on the internet. They're not needed anymore, we have youtube and twitter and Trump can use those platforms to communicate with his supporters.

This is all good as the three pillars of Jewish power are the media, the banks, and the universities. Even if Trump removes just one, the media, that will make everyone safe.

The banks and the universities it's so they never come back to power.

Funny true story from this morning: Went into newsagent to purchase non-'news' item and noticed a headline announcing that Brexit will cost the UK £160 Bn. Laughed, and remarked to the proprietor that there's more honesty in his celebrity tattle mags. He agreed, and added that it's a pity people take the lügenpresse seriously for anything except entertainment. There was no sign of him being a Nazi or anything...

The Real Story Behind Thanksgiving

Did you know that the first Thanksgiving was a celebration of the triumph of private property and individual initiative?
William Bradford was the governor of the original Pilgrim colony, founded at Plymouth in 1621. The colony was first organized on a communal basis, as their financiers required. Land was owned in common. The Pilgrims farmed communally, too, following the "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" precept.
The results were disastrous. Communism didn't work any better 400 years ago than it does today. By 1623, the colony had suffered serious losses. Starvation was imminent.

Bradford realized that the communal system encouraged and rewarded waste and laziness and inefficiency, and destroyed individual initiative. Desperate, he abolished it. He distributed private plots of land among the surviving Pilgrims, encouraging them to plant early and farm as individuals, not collectively.

The results: a bountiful early harvest that saved the colonies. After the harvest, the Pilgrims celebrated with a day of Thanksgiving -- on August 9th.

Unfortunately, William Bradford's diaries -- in which he recorded the failure of the collectivist system and the triumph of private enterprise -- were lost for many years. When Thanksgiving was later made a national holiday, the present November date was chosen. And the lesson the Pilgrims so painfully learned was, alas, not made a part of the holiday. (Sounds like a jew in a wood pile somewhere!)

Happily, Bradford's diaries were later rediscovered. They're available today in paperback. They tell the real story of Thanksgiving -- how private property and individual initiative saved the Pilgrims.

This Thanksgiving season, one of the many things I'm thankful for is our free market system (imperfectly realized as it is). And I'm also grateful that there are increasing numbers of Americans who are learning the importance of free markets, and who are working to replace government coercion with marketplace cooperation here in America and around the world.

Each year at this time, schoolchildren all over America are taught the official Thanksgiving story, and newspapers, radio, TV, and magazines devote vast amounts of time and space to it. It is all very colorful and fascinating.

It is also very deceiving. This official story is nothing like what really happened. It is a fairy tale, a whitewashed and sanitized collection of half-truths which divert attention away from Thanksgiving's real meaning.

The official story has the Pilgrims boarding the Mayflower, coming to America, and establishing the Plymouth colony in the winter of 1620–21. This first winter is hard, and half the colonists die. But the survivors are hard working and tenacious, and they learn new farming techniques from the Indians. The harvest of 1621 is bountiful. The pilgrims hold a celebration, and give thanks to God. They are grateful for the wonderful new abundant land He has given them.

The official story then has the Pilgrims living more or less happily ever after, each year repeating the first Thanksgiving. Other early colonies also have hard times at first, but they soon prosper and adopt the annual tradition of giving thanks for this prosperous new land called America.

The problem with this official story is that the harvest of 1621 was not bountiful, nor were the colonists hard-working or tenacious. 1621 was a famine year and many of the colonists were lazy thieves.

In his History of Plymouth Plantation, the governor of the colony, William Bradford, reported that the colonists went hungry for years because they refused to work in the field. They preferred instead to steal food. He says the colony was riddled with "corruption," and with "confusion and discontent." The crops were small because "much was stolen both by night and day, before it became scarce eatable."

In the harvest feasts of 1621 and 1622, "all had their hungry bellies filled," but only briefly. The prevailing condition during those years was not the abundance the official story claims, it was famine and death. The first "Thanksgiving" was not so much a celebration as it was the last meal of condemned men.

But in subsequent years something changes. The harvest of 1623 was different. Suddenly, "instead of famine now God gave them plenty," Bradford wrote, "and the face of things was changed, to the rejoicing of the hearts of many, for which they blessed God." Thereafter, he wrote, "any general want or famine hath not been amongst them since to this day." In fact, in 1624, so much food was produced that the colonists were able to begin exporting corn.

What happened? After the poor harvest of 1622, writes Bradford, "they began to think how they might raise as much corn as they could, and obtain a better crop." They began to question their form of economic organization.

This had required that "all profits & benefits that are got by trade, traffic, trucking, working, fishing, or any other means" were to be placed in the common stock of the colony, and that, "all such persons as are of this colony, are to have their meat, drink, apparel, and all provisions out of the common stock." A person was to put into the common stock all he could, and take only what he needed.

This "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" was an early form of socialism, and it is why the Pilgrims were starving. Bradford writes that "young men that were most able and fit for labor and service" complained about being forced to "spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children." Also, "the strong, or man of parts, had no more in division of victuals and clothes, than he that was weak." So the young and strong refused to work and the total amount of food produced was never adequate.

To rectify this situation, in 1623 Bradford abolished socialism. He gave each household a parcel of land and told them they could keep what they produced, or trade it away as they saw fit. In other words, he replaced socialism with a free market, and that was the end of the famines.

Many early groups of colonists set up socialist states, all with the same terrible results. At Jamestown, established in 1607, out of every shipload of settlers that arrived, less than half would survive their first twelve months in America. Most of the work was being done by only one-fifth of the men, the other four-fifths choosing to be parasites. In the winter of 1609–10, called "The Starving Time," the population fell from five-hundred to sixty. Then the Jamestown colony was converted to a free market, and the results were every bit as dramatic as those at Plymouth.
