About the Book Club category
A Book Club is an excellent idea. Think it's great as-is for starters.
You addressed ages in the intro. Occurred to me when posting my zone that if a Book Club has an age preference maybe include that in the category header w/ zone
"City, Area - [Age Preference] Only"
Already started doing meet ups before the whole "book club" thing came along.
Great idea to make it a worldwide initiative.
If you want @AndrewAnglin, I can send you a "rules of engagement" that we Aussie Stormers devised and have worked with from day dot. It's proven to be successful for us so far.
Anglin, just curious how visible this is to non-members and users with low rep. Wouldn't it be better for only users of a certain rep, and trustworthy to be able to see the book club? I'm just paranoid about antifa fuckheads using this to ambush Stormers.
carry a knife on you at all time, maybe a gun also. and don't worry about sissy ambushers. train in fighting and be ready to stand your ground. as a white man you are a target at all times, not just at meet ups.
@AndrewAnglin Please recommend or enforce this location format to make Book Clubs easier to locate.
My suggestion is to change the titles of all of the threads in this section to be:
Country, State, Suburb...
Successive labels should get more precise to a smaller location.
Or something like that anyway. Because that way people can scroll or search for say "New york" and then all of the different suburbs will be in the same place on the page. At the moment it is all over the place.
e.g.
America, New York, Long Island
For example:
Madrid, Spain
is much less useful than
Spain, Madrid
Please change and be consistent.
Madrid, Spain
Yeah, I agree it needs to be standardized, though I think I'm going to break it down into regional subforms soon, so it will just be city-state in America, and city-country in Europe.
Though you're right, if it was arranged alphabetically, it would make more sense to put the state first.
I think I'm going to try to put together a directory as well though.
Anyway, clean-up sometime this week, I'm still thinking it through.
Skype can be a great tool for introductions and icebreakers, and it also takes much less time to establish relationships that are further apart on the ground. I think you can still set up a skype account with a dummy-email. Of course, there will always be extra value in putting names to faces and gauging reactions in person (although skype still has free 1-on-1 video-chats i think).
I want to implement this and grow my group in the Brooklyn/Queens/NYC area
Just another of the great AA initiatives that could kick start the beginning of a new era........
Seems to be almost exclusively Americans here. Where are my European and Dutch bros?
"I think I'm going to try to put together a directory as well though."
Just use some map app like Mapquest so we can drill into our area or whatever area we are visiting.
Thx.
i dont suppose there is anyway to make a map with location pins?
that would make this a lot easier to find one near you, with a search bar too?
Always go straight for the throat, it's the weakest point of the body and almost always exposed, I don't mean with a knife though, lol, just the slightest of a tap on the throat will stop anyone. Just give your own windpipe a slight tap and see how little pressure is needed
This.
Which brings up something I was involved with very briefly in the past: opsec. For those out there like myself who really, really, really, really do not want to be doxed (kids, mortgage, etc.), it would be good to have some solid protocols laid out to minimize one's risk of being doxed when participating in a SBC.
OPSEC is very important and we could always use more of it. Here's some good ground rules I've been thinking of lately:
Don't list your exact location online. Personally I don't even put my city, preferring to say "I'm near [location]" or "I'm 30 minutes away from [location]".
Never use your real name.
Try not to meet close to your home. One town over is ideal.
Don't talk loudly about Jews and niggers in a place you can be overheard.
Don't have photos taken of you without a mask, especially if you're doing something like giving a Roman salute.
Obviously not everyone has to follow all of these all the time - we need men like Richard Spencer who are willing to have their faces and names put out there and linked with their ideas. However, our current political climate is still very hostile to the notion of proud White men. There's much we can accomplish without having our identities exposed to those who want to destroy our livelihoods.
