This is a great video. He has a good oratory style. Combined with his writing, it makes for a good speech.
A transcript from one of my favourite parts:
"We no longer have a belief in anything beyond this life; that there's any higher value to anything. This concept has been removed as we've been submerged into decadent materialism. People were links in an eternal chain, knowing that without having done their duty the chain would be broken. Each one of our ancestors going back to the beginning has been absolutely necessary in order for all of us to exist. It's kind of an obvious thing - but when you think about it it's pretty amazing. You know, the existence of any individual is something of a miracle: that all these people lived to produce children for millions of years.
Presently, we have a serious phenomenon among Western women, where once they reach the age of perhaps 28 or 30 they begin to develop serious psychological illness as they realise that they're limited in their time to produce a child. In their teens and 20s, they're convinced by the liberal jewish establishment; and then succeed in convincing themselves that there's more to life than birthing children. The system tells them: you could be a bank branch manager! Or perhaps go on a journey through Asia and do meditation at an Indian temple! You might even be able to be a fashion designer! Why on earth would you want a baby?! and after all, if you're going to get married and settle down, you're going to need to find a soulmate; who through some supernatural ability is able to make you excited all the time! Like in the Romantic Comedies! You can't just settle for any old working man. You will become bored. This soulmate could take 60 years to find! Do not rush it. There's a whole world out there which involves all sorts of interesting things.
So these confused women; they have repeated abortions, or you know - maybe they succeed with condoms and oral contraceptives. I dunno, I think probably that doesn't work very well. They succeed in not having children, chasing this carrot that there's some future satisfaction that they're going to have: something in the future. Until they reach the age when their biology is irresistible. They call this the biological clock; when women become very upset, thinking they're not going to have a baby. Then they either have to conquer their biology and make it to 40 when it's then physically impossible to have a child; to get pregnant. And this is really a form of suicide. I mean, it's ending yourself by ending your lineage. Or they must find somebody to get them pregnant, and you see this - they just find anybody off the street.
Russian women, by the way, don't appear to have this problem - even the pussy riot women both had children in their early 20s; so these are extremist liberals who still wanted to have kids because they're biologically driven to do so. Funny story - after I left Greece last year I did a tour through the Balkans - I wanted to see waht was going on - and I ended up spending some time in Moldova. There was a girl there I went out with and she was 20 - you know, sweet, pretty girl. Wasn't super serious. But after I left, I was like: you know, let's talk on Facebook, skype, whatever. So I kept in contact with her - she was 20 - and she was in school, so I figured she wasn't in any rush. And one day she sent me a message: "Andre, I must tell you - you take very long coming back here. I returned with my boyfriend before, and now I wait the baby." So they follow, in the East, they follow more of a traditional model and raise children, which is kind of refreshing to see.
So the problem with attempting to establish liberalism as a sort of divine order - as Fukiyama saw it - an all encompassing divine order - that's capable of ending history as then it is based on constant change: meaning that while it could indeed be universal, it could never actually be stable. And eventually it would reach a saturation point. By the time the wall came down, coincidentally the system had already begun to fold in on itself. And the formerly Communist world entered very late in the game. And having lacked the gradual induction into the Western delusion, they have over the course of the last 20 years begun to rebel against the Imperial culture of the Western World, and we're seeing this now with the new Cold War."
