Berserk is the most extreme example of mismanagement of cg I've seen.
Its gotten better as the series has progressed but it still turns me off.
Miura really should have went with madhouse for this series. Hellsing ultimate had a good blend of full cg and traditional animation without looking terrible. So much potential lost like the berserk ovas.
The main reason the whole show is not fully cg is for the sake of key panels in the manga.

Plot twist, Fake Frank was brought back to life by Chin Chin. The plot becomes more interesting by every day.
Aren't practically all forms of entertainment a way to escape the real world?
Though I wont deny that pornographic Anime and Manga have ravaged both western and Japanese birthrates alike, I disagree with your notion that all Anime and Manga are bad.
Saying "Anime is bad" is like saying "Comic books are bad" or "Food is bad".
There are so many different types of Japanese artwork (Manga & anime) that that expression doesn't really make any sense.
Can I recommend some animes/mangas?
Parasyte: The maxim, Attack on Titan, and One Punch Man.
I recently watched that dreaded anime "Miss Kobayashi's Maid Dragon" only to find myself hooked on it.
I finished the entire season in 2 days.
It's a super funny anime, if you discount the slightly degenerate stuff (of which there is actually very little; I don't know why the internet decided to collectively pounce on this particular anime for being degenerate. There are plenty of Animes that have an emphasis on degeneracy, and this is not one of them
)
The show goes into some interesting themes about how it's like to owe your life to someone, how it like to live among those weaker than you, how one might live your life in complete dedication to another person even though you know you are superior to them, etc. etc.
If I'm honest, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Plus, it has some really nice music. In fact, most anime music is really nice.
^cutesy, "chibi" style animation
^Hard Hitting, Serious Animes

^Sort of inbetween
When all someone has seen is shit anime with shit dubs on shit Western television, it is natural that they would be disgusted by it and would automatically assume that all anime is shit -- which is a shit assumption, but whatever.
It's not for everyone, anyway.
If I'm going to waste time trying to get an anime hater to accept and watch anime, it would be fitting that I lend an ear to any sportsball fans who would like to explain why watching niggers run, jump, and throw things is so fucking amazing.
I've tried to watch psycho pass like 6 times cuz everyone keeps recommending it and I keep getting bored w it.
My favorite anime by far is fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood. I also really loved deadman wonderland but they only did 13 episodes (I don't do manga). Death note was great, attack on titan is good. Angel cop was legit.
Dragon ball super is gay as fuck.
I want a serious anime w a good story and no mech. Speaking of which gurann Lagan is literally the gayest anime ever
Man, the furthest I made it into Psycho Pass was my last try. Think I got 7 episodes in.
I'm gonna check out parasyte, thanks.
Parasyte is good. This is what I'm looking for. Really liked the first episode.
This is the opposite of watching Psycho Pass. I'm actually into it. Kinda like Deadman Wonderland in a sense.
Hey @Spartacus, have you heard about the new Fate/Apocrypha anime? The bad guy is an immortal Romanian wizard, and he has people impaled in the first episode. I bet you'd like it.
There's only one episode so far, but it's reminding me of Fate/Zero, which is a good sign.
Haven't seen that. I haven't seen all of the Fate/ stuff that came before, though it's on my list.
