Great commentary overall, Andrew, but I strongly disagree with Kasich for any position in the upcoming Trump administration, let alone VP. This is the same guy who, in a previous debate, said that he would "punch Russia in the nose", remember?

Interesting,just watched the tv5 French news. Approximate translation: Donald Trump was in his usual good forme,dominated the debate with his concise solid opinions on foreign affairs(showed translated version)and other subjects. Pounded Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and argued with Jeb Bush(showed strong Trump responses) the traditional conservative audience booed him. Basically they insinuated he won the debate and the audience were stupid

Not only do I have hope, I have confidence. As iHate_Marxism said, too many people have waked up. Many more are waking up. Many are on the fence and will come down on our side, I believe. There will be hard choices to make, and it will be hard and bloody work, work not for the squeamish.
But I think more and more of us are coming to grips with that.
Changing the subject, I still like LePage for veep. A distant second would be Pat Buchanan.
No to Jeff Sessions. He should stay in the Senate and ride herd over immigration.

Q: Today, what can I do to help Mr. Trump get the Republican party nomination?
A: I can go the local Trump for President office and get 25 yard signs and put them up at the exits from residential areas and at busy intersections.
Q: What does that accomplish?
A: Remember, 80% of the people that should be interested in our cause are preoccupied with day to day survival. The signs remind them that now is the time, Mr. Trump has support right here locally, and that it is OK to vote for him.
Any man that will not put up signs for Mr. Trump today is already wearing his new world order chains and needs to shut up and get off the Internet.
