Well,most of the ATX nigras that lived in the old hood east of downtown right across I35 have been taxed out. They put up a bunch of overpriced condos,filled ( or are trying to fill) them up with undersmart hipsters,and the chuckers seem to have all wound up in Pflugerville. Not sure about the nigras trying to get educationed,though.

Crying shame about P-ville. I can remember when it was a nice little town outside of Austin,full of squareheads. Oma and Oma are probably spinning in their graves.

hey guys, looking forward to doing this thing with y'all. i met narysron and looking forward to meeting the rest of you. for now, i am on call until the friday after this upcoming friday, so i can't go into town until then. should be getting a new car soon as well. this is the moment we've all been waiting for. austin is perfect too.

I don't wanna sound selfish or anything, but San Marcos is pretty central between Austin and San Antonio. I know @Steve goes there often and I will be living there in a few weeks. Could it be a good place to meet up? just throwing suggestions around

I'm willing to drive to Austin, just don't know the city very well. I've got some other ideas for meet ups, there are cool small towns between SA and ATX. We can make a private thread soon to discuss details.

One possibility is Blanco. Straight up 281 from SA,straight west on the Backbone from San Marcos,straight west on 290 from ATX. And Blanco isn't a huge place,so stuff is easy to find,mostly.

Quite a bit of tourist traffic on the weekends,so that may or may not be an issue. At any rate, it's an idea.
